FSA Scholarship Eligibility 

The FSA Scholarship is designed to support individuals who are passionate about building a future in the grocery and beverage industry.
To qualify, applicants must:

  1. A qualifying applicant will be either: 
    • A graduating high school senior in Spring 2026, OR 
    • A post–high school adult with proof of a high school diploma, GED, or
      college/university transcript. 

  2. Career Interest Requirement: Applicant must demonstrate a sincere interest in a career in the food and beverage retail industry, shown through written responses and during the personal interview, if selected. 

  3. Previous Scholarship Recipients: If the applicant is a previous FSA Scholarship winner, they may reapply if they have not received more than one FSA Scholarship in prior years. All prior scholarship payments must be fully paid out before June 30, 2026. 

  4. Employment Eligibility – Start Date: Applicant (or their parent/guardian, if applicable) must remain as an active, full, or part-time, employee at a participating retailer from June 15, 2025 through May 30, 2026. 

  5. Residency Requirement: Applicant must live within participating Texas counties. Applicants who work outside Texas or outside participating counties but are employed at a store managed by a participating North Texas retailer may be considered. The FSA Board has final decision-making authority. 
    • 
    Example: An employee working at an Albertsons in Shreveport, LA that is managed by the North Texas division may apply for the FSA Scholarship.

Submit Application & Documents

Submit all materials via the FSA Scholarship Foundation Form by April 27th 2026.

 

Managers must complete and submit the Store Manager’s Comment Form.
